Blue Sky Behavioral Health, Inc., is a private mental health agency dedicated to establishing, maintaining, and enhancing the quality of mental health services to the Medicaid population in Northeastern Oklahoma. We are dedicated to "Making a Difference" in the lives of those in need of affordable mental health services. The Blue Sky staff is a multidisciplinary team of professionals including Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage & Family Counselors, Licensed Alcohol & Drug Therapists, a Psychiatrist and Registered Nurse. Our team works closely with each client to develop an individualized Treatment Plan. The Plan may call for the client to work with one or more members of the clinical team, depending on their specific needs and goals, as well as the intensity of services needed. Our full array of behavioral health services is offered either in the privacy of the client's home or in our offices. Blue Sky Behavioral Health in Muskogee began operations in March 1999. This was the result of the closure of the Children's Medical Center, Muskogee Satellite. Recognizing the need to continue servicing the community, the acting administrator, along with psychiatrist Dennis Trost, M.D., began preliminary talks with the intention of maintaining service to Muskogee County. Within weeks of the closure of the satellite location, Blue Sky Behavioral Health, Inc. was formed and opened to continue service to Muskogee. Today, our therapeutic team is equipped to provide comprehensive out-patint services for individuals and families. Our staff and clinicians have a strong desire and commitment to serve the Medicaid population in Muskogee. Outpatient services are designed to be culturally appropriate and sensitive, as well as age appropriate.
