Established in 1993, Bon Matin is the third version of French Specialty Bakery Shop owned by Francois Martin in the USA. From Boston to Virginia, his sophisticated yet traditional flair makes his recipes a wonderful experience for pastries afficionatos and food enthusiasts.
Francois comes from a French family of generations of chefs and restaurant owners. He started as an apprentice in Bordeaux when he was 16 years old and has grown is passion for sharing French delicatessens since then.
Francois and Aida Adams became partners in 2014 to bring the venue a modern & chic atmosphere only to be found in the wonderful streets of Paris and lovely French Country Sides. Aida has spent 20 years in Paris and Lyon where she became a real enthusiast of French aesthetics, art-de-la-table and cuisine. Mother of four little children, she decided to bring L'Art de Vivre to America.
In the USA, the French Bakery segment occupies a unique place in the traditional bakery market. We only use high quality raw materials, some imported from Europe, such as traditional flour with no additives, labelled butters and high end dairy products. Using traditional techniques from France we take pride in fashioning for you two world recognized bakery icons, the baguette and all butter croissant.
