Bread of Life offers a range of care services for the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical well being of men, women and children. Founded in 1992, it administers Pathway to Hope, which is a homeless service program that serves more than 130 individuals twice a day, seven days a week. The project s DayBreak Community Health Center a street outreach ministry with integrated systems of primary care, mental health, substance abuse prevention, case management and client advocacy services. It features Resurrection House, which is a transitional living facility. Bread of Life is a project that was started as a Houston, inner-city outreach ministry of St. John s United Methodist Church.
