Breck School is divided into three academic divisions, each headed by a division director. The lower school includes prekindergarten through grade four, the middle school is made up of grades five through eight, and the upper school includes grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English and language arts, mathematics, social sciences and history, modern languages, science, performing and visual arts, physical education and health, computer, library and media studies, life skills and service learning. Its upper school students interested in science and history have the opportunity to engage in real-world research through various programs. Breck is approved by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. It additionally offers various extracurricular activities and sports programs, such as cross country, soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey, tennis, swimming, softball, and track and field. Breck School is located in Minneapolis.
