Brooklyn Cyclones, founded in 2001, is a baseball team based in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Cyclones played and won their first home game on June 25, 2001 amidst thousands of fans and hundreds of media members. The team became the first short-season club ever to draw more than 300,000 fans. The Cyclones have won three McNamara Division Championships in four years, and were the New York-Penn League Co-Champions in their first season. It has produced numerous stars in its short playing history, such as Edgar Rodriguez, Mike Cox, Harold Eckert, John Toner, Brett Kay, Angel Pagan, Frank Corr, Kevin Deaton, Miguel Pinango, Danny Garcia, Corey Coles and Caleb Stewart. The team store offers apparels for men, women and kids, cold weather gear, hats, jerseys, novelties such as plush dolls, polo and dress shirts and Brooklyn dodgers.
