Brothers and Hubert O. Thompson were partners in the Chicago law firm of Carney & Brothers, Ltd which was founded in 1981. Alan Brothers and Hubert Thompson each have more than 30 years of legal experience. Alan Brothers concentrates in the areas of product liability litigation and contract litigation. Hubert Thompson specializes in labor law and employment litigation. Each of the firm s partners has been awarded an "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating that organization awards firms and lawyers based on legal expertise and professional reputation. In 1998, Ronald Austin, Jr., joined Brothers & Thompson. Ron Austin concentrates in the areas of product liability litigation, employment litigation, and real estate. In 2005, Benjamin Ghess became Of Counsel to Brothers & Thompson. Ben Ghess, former in-house senior counsel at Ameritech, now AT&T, specializes in labor law and employment litigation. Ben is also a certified mediator and is on the Employment Panel for the American Arbitration Association. In addition to our attorneys, Brothers & Thompson is supported by experienced paralegal and administrative support staff.
