Bryant Core Knowledge Magnet Elementary School serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has a library media center that assists students in the use of current and appropriate information and encourages reading as a lifetime activity. The school offers academic classes in various subjects, such as vocal and instrumental music, math, science, speech and language, social studies, and health and physical education. It offers an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide the reading practices and helps students in improving reading abilities. It is operated by Wichtia Public Schools, which also operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Bryant Core Knowledge Magnet Elementary School has been operational since 1957 and is located in Wichita, Kan.
