Established in 1877, Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic day school for young women in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as American history, biology, elementary statistics, chemistry, English literature and composition. The school also offers courses in foreign languages that include Spanish and French. Additionally, it offers courses in music and visual arts. The school offers a variety of sports activities to its students, such as lacrosse, basketball, soccer, swimming and Tennis. The school also has various student clubs and societies that include ecology club, peer ministry, writers' and Red Cross clubs. It offers various student services, such as campus ministry and student counseling. It is a part of the Eggertsville School District and is located in Buffalo, N.Y.
