In November 2006, Mother / Daughter team Diane and Maureen Dorsett purchased Burke Florist from the previous owner, Ruth Walker. Diane worked as a Floral Designer under Ruth for the last 10 years, and Maureen's first job included sweeping the shop and processing flowers.
