National Business Aviation Association, founded in 1947, is a trade association that represents and protects the interests of the business aviation community throughout the United States. It represents more than 7,300 companies in the aviation business, and provides a platform for the purchase and sale of products and services. The association act as the principal advocate and voice for the business aviation industry before the media, and state and local governments. Its Web site provides information on security regulations, flight department managers, and financial issues, such as federal and state taxes, ramifications of the personal use of employer-provided aircrafts, carriage of elected officials, and aviation insurance. It also has an online library that offers airport database, references for airport and air traffic issues, flight operator manuals, aviation documents and online resources for operators flying outside of the United States.
