Cantalician Center for Learning, located in Buffalo, N.Y., offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs to students. It is approved by the New York State Education Department. It is a private school that also provides special education services to children and young adults of ages 5 through 21 with developmental disabilities. The education center also assists children suffering with mental retardation, autism and multiple disabilities. It provides academic courses in functional mathematics, reading, community information and access, daily living skills, household management, vocational preparation, and leisure and recreation skills. The center additionally offers various sports activities, including bowling, swimming, intramural basketball and cheerleading. Its other programs include rallies, Olympic games, dances, holiday activities, special assemblies and field trips.
