Capital Region Otolaryngology Head and Neck Group is a single specialty practice comprising certified ear, nose and throat physicians serving the New York Capital District area. The practice has two subspecialty clinics, including the Northeast Ear Institute and the Capital Region Sleep and Wake Disorder Center. Northeast Ear Institute provides subspecialized care for disorders of the ear, hearing, balance, facial nerve and skull base. Its physicians have extensive experience in cochlear implantation, stapedectomy, chronic ear surgery, tumors involving the ear and temporal bone. The institute is a regional implant center for the Advanced Bionics Clarion Cochlear Implant. Sleep and Wake Disorder Center is an internationally recognized subspecialty center for sleep and wake problems, including obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, periodic limb movement disorder, parasomnia, and insomnia.
