Capitol Guitars was established in 2004 by Eric Berg & Bill Bergeron of the twin cities local sci-fi punk band Invasion Earth. As gigging musicians, we understood the need for a full-service guitar store in Downtown St. Paul. We wanted to create a store "By Musicians, For Musicians" that could meet the needs of musicians.
Any store can sell gear but we go above and beyond to actually meet your needs. We know what it's like to break an E string during the first set of a Friday night gig and have nowhere to go to get a replacement. At Capitol Guitars, we're open and available to meet your needs.
We pride ourselves on a clean, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere. We don't believe in putting pressure on our customers -- we feel that our outstanding service will make the difference!
