This is accomplished through financial and clinical integration of health care providers, incorporating the concepts of bundled services, shared risk and single payment for professional services. CVCP's network includes many of Houston s finest cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons and other specialists who provide cardiovascular-specific services to managed health care members. The organization s providers are affiliated with the Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke Episcopal Hospital and Methodist Hospital in Houston. Cardiovascular Care Providers partners include the Global Healthcare Alliance, the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association and the American Heart Association.
