Care & Counseling, incorporated in 1968, is a private, nonprofit organization, formed as an interfaith agency to combine the work of various faith-based counseling centers. The services offered include direct care for individuals and families needing professional counseling services, and a pastoral training program. It provides counseling services to those who are unable to afford the full cost of psychotherapy. The organization also provides mediation services for individuals and organizations needing conflict resolution that includes couples seeking divorce, businesses and individuals involved in disputes, and congregations in conflict. Care & Counseling is affiliated with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and the Samaritan Institute. Care & Counseling is located in St. Louis.
