Founded in 1978, Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care offers a range of health services to ill people, adults, children and infants. It is a service of the Carondelet Imaging Center that serves the physical, spiritual and psychological needs of people. Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care offers nursing and personal care, nutrition counseling, pain management and inpatient services. It also offers medication supplies and medical equipment. Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care provides physical, occupational and speech therapies, as well as short stay respite and bereavement services. It has a staff of social workers, chaplains, homemakers, nutritionists and volunteers. Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care additionally provides community education and lectures and organizes workshops. It maintains a presence in Tucson, Ariz.
