Carver Middle School enrolls more than 600 students, and offers classes from grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes math, science and technology, English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, social studies, language arts, family and consumer science, American history, and career education. It also offers classes in fine arts, music and physical education. The school s library and media center has a large collection of books, magazines, encyclopedias and other reference materials for students. It offers extracurricular activities, such as academic bowl, student council, National Junior Honor Society, jazz band, creative writing club, orchestra, chorus, math counts, and ebony bowl. The school has athletic teams for basketball, volleyball, football, and cheerleading. Located in Tulsa, Okla., Carver Middle School operates under the Tulsa Public Schools.
