Featuring cuisines of the Mediterranean and Northern Africa, Casbah is one of Pittsburgh s premier restaurants. The restaurant serves couscous crusted sea scallops, smoked salmon, arugula with crimini mushrooms, black pepper crusted beef carpaccio, creamy tomato brisque and roasted portabello. Its entrees include pepper crusted tuna, polenta crusted salmon, Caesar salad, grilled flat-iron steak and wild mushroom and fava bean risotto. A variety of pastas are also served at the restaurant, including short rib ravioli, cavatelli, orecchiette, grilled chicken, linguine and braised lamb and garganelli. The desserts include petite cr me brulee trio, warm bread pudding, chocolate-hazelnut Napolean with caramel sauce, caramelized apple-walnut cake, chocolate tower with house-made ice-cream and pumpkin ice-cream.
