Founded in 1981, Center for Diagnostic Imaging was one of the first freestanding, outpatient imaging providers in the United States. It is owned by Onex Partners, a subsidiary of Onex Corporation. The center provides magnetic resonance imaging services, its suites are spacious and have natural lighting, and it uses high-field MRI scanner designs. It also offers computerized tomography scanning, and its centers have multislice, helical CT scanners. It additionally offers diagnostic injections and pain management procedures that are ordered for diagnosis and therapeutic treatment of pain in the spine and joints. The center provides positron emission tomography and CT scan images simultaneously and combines the results of the state-of-the-art scanner technologies into a single exam. The center also provides ultrasound, mammography, X-ray, and dual energy X-ray absorptiometry tests. It offers various interventional radiology procedures, such as central venous access, peripherally inserted central catheters and implantable ports, and nuclear medicine procedures.
