Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly, also known as CARIE, is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life for elders. It offers free telephone and online consultation service. It also provides court accompaniment and advocacy for older Philadelphians who are victims of crime or abuse. Based in Philadelphia, the organization provides advocacy services to help resolve problems and complaints related to the Philadelphia Shared Ride program. CARIE also provides complaint resolution and resident rights representation services for nursing and personal care home residents living in north, central, south, west and center city Philadelphia.
