The Center for Family Medicine, established in 1973, has been serving the families of Southeast South Dakota in Sioux Falls, S.D. It is affiliated with the University of South Dakota and sponsored by both Sanford Health and Avera McKennan hospitals. It provides infant and children care, preventive care and health education, referral services, individual and family counseling, comprehensive senior care, nutrition counseling, and women and men health. Its in-house radiology services include X-ray and limited ultrasound. It provides prenatal and postnatal care from pre-conception through delivery and offers obstetric ultrasound also. Its family health library is an archive of health-related topics organized in categories. The library displays each topic with full detail, also with suggested related topics.
