The Center for Law and Social Policy is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the economic security, educational and work force prospects and family stability of low-income parents, children and youth and to secure equal justice for all. It provides low-income adults with access to quality education, training, transitional jobs and other employment-preparation activities. The center offers universal opportunities for children to participate in early education and prekindergarten programs in order to increase their school readiness. It additionally provides low-wage workers with access to work supports, such as child care, food stamps, Medicaid, cash assistance, and child and medical support. The Center for Law and Social Policy maintains a location in Washington, D.C.
