The Huntsville Center for Technology provides students with academic and workplace knowledge and skills in preparation for successful employment. It offers courses in automotive technology, culinary arts, cosmetology, computer electronics, drafting design, health care science and power equipment. The center operates various student organizations, such as the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, Health Occupations Students of America and Family Career and Community Leaders of America. Located in Huntsville, Ala., the Huntsville Center for Technology is a part of Huntsville City Schools, which provides learning opportunities through elementary, middle and high schools, as well as special center and magnet schools. Huntsville City Schools also has distance learning, audit, board, employment, environmental education and health service departments.
