Central California Faculty Medical Group is an organization of faculty physicians and staff headquartered in Fresno, Calif. Affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco Medical Education Program, the association s staff of more than 200 full and part-time physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and certified midwives have access to state-of-the-art medical advances and teaching techniques. Central California Faculty Medical Group s primary educational facility is the University Medical Center, a part of the Community Medical Centers. Community Medical Centers also includes various facilities in Fresno and Clovis, Calif. University Medical Centers is one of the only medical facilities in California to offer level one trauma, and burn services and is recognized for its primary care-focused curriculum and training programs.
