Central Church of God offers a range of worship and religious services. Founded in 1977, it has men, women, preschool and hospitality ministries. The church offers opportunities for members to participate in sports activities, such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, football and softball. Central Church of God conducts several church events, seminars and classes. The church maintains a facility that can accommodate up to 6,000 individuals. It operates the Central Church Life Care Center, which assists the church body and community to achieve spiritual, emotional and relational growth. In addition, Central Church of God manages the Central Academy at Lake Park, which is a private school that serves Christian families in Mecklenburg and Union counties in North Carolina.
