Founded in 1938, Central Lakes College is located in Brainerd, with a campus in Staples, Minn. It is a community and technical college serving more than 4,000 students each year. The college offers more than 70 degrees and career education programs, including associate in arts, medical secretary diploma, criminal justice certificate, specialized management programs and associate in applied science. The college also offers online programs and interactive television. It provides various career and college transfer programs, training, cooperative programs and a wide variety of activities, including athletics, student organization, music, theater.
