El Capitan Middle School, established in 1961, offers education to students in grades seven and eight. It is affiliated with the Central Unified School District and has an enrollment of more than 750 students. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, physical and special education, mathematics, computers, arts, science and social studies.
