Centre Syracuse is a treatment facility specifically designed to meet the needs of those with eating disorders. Its staff includes psychiatrists, physicians, internal medical consultants, primary, family and marriage therapists, dieticians, trained nurses and medical attendants. The center was established in 2005 and is located in Syracuse, N.Y. It provides specialized, cost-effective alternative for those patients who do not require lengthy hospitalization. It offers various programs, including the Partial Hospital Program, the Individualized Treatment Plan and the Eating Disorders Support Network. The Partial Hospital Program is a five days a week, seven hours a day program that provides treatment services for adolescents above 14 years of age and adults. Centre Syracuse provides family therapy and outpatient treatment through its sister organization Psychological HealthCare.
