Established in 1963, Challenger School operates more than 20 schools throughout California, Idaho, Nevada and Utah and serves over 10,000 students annually in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. With a location in San Jose, Calif., the school s preschool curriculum includes classes in math, science, music, art and physical education. It provides assistance to develop coordination and motor skills through games and activities, such as jumping, hopping, running and skipping. Challenger School additionally organizes poetry fairs, speech festivals and spelling contests. The school offers a range of cultural activities, including singing, dancing and acting. Its middle school students display their programming and graphics work at its computer design fair.
