Chandler Middle School, located in Richmond, Va., is a part of Richmond Public Schools. The school s guidance department provides academic, social and personal counseling support services. The guidance department works in partnership with other educators, parents and the community. The department also provides referrals to community agencies, mental health centers, psychologists and social workers. Chandler Middle School s media center stocks books, periodicals and magazines and also provides access to several educational and recreational Web sites. The middle school has basketball and cheerleading teams. It also publishes a monthly newsletter.
