KSNW Channel 3 is an affiliate of the National Broadcasting Corporation based in Wichita, Kan. It is owned by the Montecito Broadcast Group. Founded in 1955, it is also the main station of the Kansas State Network, the state's chain of NBC affiliates. KSNW s weather department called WeatherLab is in Exploration Place, Wichita's children's science museum. The station broadcasts local, national and world news related to business, current affairs, sports and entertainment. Its Web site offers various resources, such as weather pictures, daily and weekly weather status, school closings, list of most wanted and stock quotes. The station also airs its programming in high-definition television format to viewers throughout the United States.
