Chaplaincy Fund, Inc is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide financial resources for the Department of Chaplaincy and Pastoral Education at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, one of the nation's premier cancer hospitals.As part of M. D. Anderson's mission of holistic patient care, the Chaplaincy department brings spiritual comfort and support to countless patients and family members who face the challenges of a life-threatening disease. The chaplains and volunteers provide hope, care and love in a nondenominational setting.To perpetuate the mission of caring, Clinical Pastoral Education ( CPE ) programs train new generations of lay and ordained ministers and seminary students. More than 200 CPE graduates now serve in congregational and institutional settings all over the world.
