Chastain Art Center, established in 1968, is one of the oldest city-operated arts facilities in Atlanta. It is a part of the City of Atlanta's Bureau of Cultural Affairs and presents contemporary fine art by local and regional artists. Open Monday through Saturday, it also holds exhibitions by local, regional, national and international artists. The City of Atlanta's Bureau of Cultural Affairs also comprises the Atlanta Jazz Festival, ARTSCool, Summer Murals and Atlanta Cyclorama.
