Chevron Phillips Chemical Company is a producer of olefins and polyolefins and a supplier of aromatics, alpha olefins, styrenics, specialty chemicals, piping and proprietary plastics. It is a joint venture between the Chevron Corporation and ConocoPhillips, who each own 50 percent of the company. The company has more than $7 billion in assets and operates more than 35 production and research facilities in the United States, Puerto Rico, Singapore, China, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Mexico and Belgium. The company has more than five research, technology and quality control centers worldwide.
