Founded I 1904, the Children's Bureau is an adoption agency that offers a range of in-home counseling and parent education classes. The agency provides a variety of therapeutic and home care solutions for the victims of abuse, unemployment and homelessness. Its Magnolia Place Family Center occupies more than 46,000 square feet of space. The Children's Bureau serves the residents of Los Angeles and Orange counties in California. In addition, the agency operates several toddler and family enrichment centers. It offers child abuse prevention, mental health care, and family reunification and permanency programs. The Children's Bureau supports over 14,000 children and parents each year.
