The Children's Home is a nonprofit organization established in 1909, and is located in Winston-Salem, N.C. The center is licensed by the state of North Carolina as a mental health residential treatment center. It provides a wide range of residential services, including individualized interventions, psycho-educational and formal peer groups, family counseling and treatment groups and experiential counseling. It offers several foster care services, such as therapeutic, respite and traditional care. The center also provides counseling services to couples, families and individuals of all age groups. It offers counseling in several areas, such as hyperactivity, anxiety, depression, family issues, child behavioral difficulties, premarital counseling and marital issues.
