Through River house and Shelter Plus Care 96, Citrus Health Network provides permanent housing to disabled homeless individuals, couples or families. Citrus Health Network serves those seeking treatment with a full-time clinical and rehabilitative staff that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, nursing professionals, mental health counselors, mental health technicians, residential technicians and life skill instructors. With its main facility and branch locations in Hialeah, Fla., the network has additional locations in Miami, Pembroke Pines, Homestead and Perrine, Fla. Citrus Health Network was founded in 1979. The network has received accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
