New Orleans City Park is one of the largest parks in the United States. It is a state agency of the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism and is operated by the City Park Improvement Association. The park offers a variety of sports and recreational activities and natural attractions, including the New Orleans Botanical Garden, Storyland playground and Carousel Gardens Amusement Park. In addition, it offers several facilities to host public and private events, such as weddings, picnics, concerts and business meetings. The park receives more than 11 million visitors each year. New Orleans City Park is spread over an area of more than 1,300 acres and is located in New Orleans.
