Opened in 2005, City Neighbors Charter School is located in Baltimore and serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. It offers educational classes in various subjects, including religion, agriculture, English, family and consumer science, economics, science, technology, theater arts and foreign languages. It also provides lessons in health education, history, literature, music, math and special education. In addition, students are given the option to participate in a number of extracurricular activities. City Neighbors Charter School maintains a library that has a collection of books and periodicals that complement the academic curriculum. Its business and community partners include the Cedmont Community Improvement Association, Abell Foundation, Epiphany Lutheran Church, Hamilton Federal Bank and Oak Crest Village Retirement Community.
