In 1946 Clearwater Systems started out as a single product company, selling only Culligan equipment. Over time we began representing additional companies in order to better solve varying water problems & to be able to offer better pricing to address all budgets. In 1970 a new manufacturer, Kinetico, was formed, selling a revolutionary new non-electric, on demand dual tank water softener. Clearwater Systems added their products to our offerings & it has become our most often requested system. Kinetico has become even more prominent as the "green environment" focus has grown in popularity. Kinetico is our most efficient water treatment system requiring 50% less salt & water per generation &, with no electrical components, is by far the most trouble free system carrying a 10 yr. all parts & labor warranty. Clearwater Systems now offers an extensive list of products from which to choose. However, what you select is not nearly as important as whom you select to correct your family's water. New companies come and go offering unproven products & warranties from someone unlikely to be in business when you need them: worse yet, the purchase of an internet product with little or no recourse should it not do what they claim. What good is a warranty that requires you to diagnose the problems & remove & return the defective part for replacement? Was something actually broken or was it just not designed to remedy your problems? Was it installed properly? Not a good plan.
