Coastal Bridge Company completes more than $40 million dollars worth of projects each year. It has people knowledgeable in all areas of construction, such as asphalt paving, concrete paving , pile driving, bridge construction, commercial and residential site development, underground sewer and utilities and several specialty trades. Coastal maintains an asphalt plant in Convent, La., and a stockpile of limestone, sand, recycled asphalt and concrete available for sale. The company also operates more than 100 pieces of heavy equipment including cranes, motor graders, dozers, excavators, shuttle buggies, asphalt and concrete pavers and transit trucks that can be rented to customers based upon their needs. Coastal provides residential home construction, where customers can choose from a pre-made house plan or custom-design a house. Coastal Bridge Company is based in Baton Rouge, La., and has been in the construction business since 1954.
