College View School is a public school for students with special needs. Based in Glendale Calif., the school serves the school districts of Glendale, Burbank, and La Canada with a traditional school year schedule and summer school session. The school provides specialized instruction in functional academics, such as life skills, communication, socialization, and motor skills, to name a few. The school has eight classrooms serving students ranging in age from three to twenty-two with moderate to severe cognitive and physical disabilities. College View School is affiliated with the Foothills SELPA (Special Education Local Plan Area).
