Our president, James Nieman, has spent his career in the wood technology industry starting with his degree in industrial occupations and an associate degree in wood technology from Truman State University. He has experience in both custom and manufactured wood products including management positions. James joined Collins Cabinets in 2005, later buying the business from its founder Dick Collins. Dick founded Collins Cabinets in 1985 and now operates in an advisory role. James' father, Glen Nieman, a semi-retired executive, also assists James in operating the business. Collins Cabinets is involved with both new home construction and remodeling projects. These can range from installations in million dollar homes to small remodeling projects. The projects can include kitchens, pantries, laundry/mud rooms, baths, wet bars, home offices, desk areas, entertainment centers, recreation rooms, libraries and bookcases.
