Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry (CACI) was created in 1965 when the Colorado Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Manufacturers' Association merged. Here's CACI's Vision Statement from its Colorado Millennium Blueprint, issued in January 2001: " In the Twenty-First Century, Colorado businesses, workers and communities will successfully compete in the New Economy. How? By increasing the standard of living and creating opportunities for all citizens while preserving the natural environment and enhancing the quality of life found nowhere but in Colorado."
