The North Kansas City Campus of Colorado Technical University opened its doors in 2005 and is off to a remarkable start. It's already becoming known for offering a wide range of allied health degree programs and diplomas, including Surgical Technology (AAS), Radiography (AAS), Practical Nursing (PN), Healthcare Information Technology (AAS), Medical Assisting (AAS) and Healthcare Management (BS).
CTU North Kansas City also offers a range of degree programs in other disciplines, such as Business Administration (BS), Information Systems Management (BS), Criminal Justice (BS), and Accounting (BS).
In addition, small classes allow each student to enjoy focused attention and assistance from the faculty and administration. And the Student Senate takes an active role in providing tutoring, planning events and enabling fellow classmates to share ideas and experiences with one another.
Even though the institution is relatively new, its career support service programs are operating at full speed, assisting students with résumés, interviews and weekly career opportunities. An online placement assistance site and on-campus recruiters can help students find non-career as well as career jobs. Because of these efforts, graduates of the school have a good opportunity to find satisfying employment in their chosen professions.
