Evaluation
At the Columbus Regional Wound Center, we begin by examining the problem area(s), learning about your medical condition and assessing your overall health. In addition, we consult with your primary physician to ensure coordinated, seamless care.
With a thorough medical evaluation and the information provided by your primary care physician, we&rsquoll explore the nature of your wound and its underlying causes. We&rsquoll then design a customized program for you.
Treatment
During the course of your treatment, your progress will be monitored carefully and managed expertly by a highly specialized team of caregivers, led by our medical directors. Best of all, you can look forward to a comforting, nurturing approach to healing, including the convenience of outpatient treatment.

The Columbus Regional Wound Center is certified by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS). The UHMS is the primary source of information for diving and hyperbaric medicine physiology worldwide and strives to improve the scientific basis of hyperbaric oxygene therapy, promote sound treatment protocols and standards of practice, and provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) accreditation.
