Chiropractic is the science, philosophy and art of detecting and correcting spinal and extra-spinal subluxations. Chiropractic was founded in 1895 by D.D. Palmer in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Palmer was a "magnetic healer" and he described his new-found healing method this way.
