Communities In Schools of Georgia, also known as CISGA, is a nonprofit, community-based organization that offers a range of school failure and dropout prevention services for students. It provides various tutoring, mentoring and counseling services. The organization offers technical support, public relations management, program evaluation, training, conference, and community and resource development services. Communities In Schools of Georgia administers the AmeriCorps Reading Tutorial program that includes intervention and tutoring services related to reading comprehension, vocabulary recognition and basic writing skills for elementary school students.
