COMPASS, founded in 1996, provides home health care services to individuals and seniors with developmental and other disabilities. It conducts a thorough assessment to determine the physical, mental, social and emotional needs of the individual. Its care managers develop specialized individual plans of care. Its services include medical care, equipment services and case management. It assists with various activities of daily living, such as bathing, personal care, grooming, dressing and laundry. It also assists with housekeeping, meal preparation, medications and nutrition. It provides 24-hour emergency assistance. In addition, it provides transportation assistance. COMPASS maintains facilities in San Francisco and Redding, Calif.
