Founded in 1905, Concordia University is a private, Lutheran, liberal arts institute offering a range of undergraduate, graduate and online programs, and it also provides various degrees, and honors and certificates courses. It offers academic programs in English, health care administration, history, humanities, interdisciplinary studies, nursing, pastoral studies, and health and fitness management. The college also provides programs in theology, arts and science. Its sports activities include basketball, cross country, soccer, volleyball, golf and softball. Concordia University additionally offers a program in business administration that includes accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and environmental and international management. The University is approved by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, and is a member of the Concordia University System. It is located in Portland, Ore.
